By maintaining an indoor humidity level below 50%, you can slow down dust mites and prevent the growth of mold spores. Humidity levels below 40% will actually kill dust mites, because it is too dry for them to survive (except in beds where it is always warm and humid). Lower humidity will also take care of mildew odor, leaving your entire home smelling clean and fresh.
